Resolved Question: Paranormal occurances PLEASE HELP!!!?

my older brother an I were walking to the creek, under the bridge for our normal hangout, and we saw something under there. I looked up and saw some kind of weird demonish type thing staring up at us. It's entire body was a dark blue color with vanes popping out and yellow glowing eyes as bright as car headlights. Me and my brother ran all the way home screaming for help. Ever sense then things haven't felt right. My brother told me it felt like he was being dropped 3 feet every morning when he got out of bed, and I have been hearing very loud voices in my mind before bed saying DO IT DO IT DO IT getting louder every time slapping the side of my head and it would go away. My mom said she was curled up in her bed reading a book with the dog then it started barking at the corner of a wall and it all of a sudden got cold in the room and she screamed GET OUT OF MY HOUSE JACKASS'S and then ran out of the house. Most of these entity's I haven't been able to see but some of them I have. In my garage the other day I saw a man about 8 feet tall in a dark suit, dark pants, and dark shoes. He had no face nothing. His entire head was as white as the moon and so were his hand, also he had long fingers, AND FUCKING SCARIEST OF ALL HE HAD LIKE OCTOPUS ARMS COMING OUT OF HIS BACK!!! I can't sleep and if I do I have a nightmare. I saw another demon like creature yesterday in the backyard by the swing set. The swings were moving by themselves and I knew it wasen't wind cuz I didn't feel anything. I looked up and saw a creature about 5"5 feet tall body entierly midnight black his face horns about 8"1/2 feet tall VERY VERY buff body but very long skinny arms with long claws with sharp red eyes almost like a laser pointer. I looked into them and went blind for a couple of days. Now my vision is very blurred. Anyways what i'm trying to say here is what can I do we tried contacting every ghost team out there but it has not helped one bit. PLEASE HELP ME!!!! it's very cold in this room right now

Open Question: What did people use before jeans became popular?

Ive seen movies set in times before the use of jeans, and it seems all people used were suits, dress pants, dress shirts, etc. But, where there any other things people used besides that? Was there any type of 'casual' style that wasnt simply loose or cheap formal clothes? I mean, before sport pants, before cargo pants, before jeans, whats the closest thing there is today that was seen before that type of casual clothes became popular? Besides dress pants... What about shirts too?

Open Question: Is there any way to get rid of random erections that happen when I'm not thinking about anything sexual?

I get them occasionally in the car or at work. I have religious views against masturbation or premarital sex, so I'm looking for some other helpful suggestions. I'm 20 years old and it can be rather embarrassing in suit pants or slacks. Thanks!

Open Question: Is there something wrong with me (picture provided)? I've never had a boyfriend.?

I guess to start off, I'm painfully awkward and shy, especially around guys I'm attracted to :( In public, I'm often quiet and to myself, but whenever eye contact and or someone starts talking to me, I politely smile and engage in conversation with them (if they start talking to me that is.) I'm just scared of being outgoing because for myself, I don't want to come off as something as bad as an idiot, or even worse a loud *****. I'm a happy person though :) Whenever I have a job, I always feel confident because I know how to talk to customers and handle whatever comes my way, but when I'm done my shift it's almost as if I lost all social skills :'(. I treat people nicely because I want them to reciprocate the favor :3 To summarize, I'm 17 years old, going to turn 18 later on, never had a boyfriend, never kissed anyone. I swear the furthest I went with a guy is a hug ;_; and I sometimes have trouble looking in the eye and I have a terrible blushing problem. How can I fix this? I don't dress provocatively because I'm just so scared of being objectified, but I do like clothes that make my figure look nicer, but nothing too tight because I'm not comfortable with it. The main things in my closet are band tees(especially classic rock/metal ones :D), jeans, leggings/yoga pants, sweaters, and anything that looks nice. For shoes, I've been madly in love with my combat boots and flats since forever. I wear my hair extremely wavy (because I've been in love with 80s hair :P), and makeup is only eyebrow filler, a little mascara and false eye lashes. I've also recently started my sleeve tattoo, and just slowly working down on it, and carefully thinking about what I want. I'm also extremely artistic and I love anyone who appreciates Leonardo da Vinci, art and music. Lastly, my taste in the opposite sex isn't very restrictive. I also don't believe in the typical Prince Charming who has to do everything and buy for me, because it's not realistic and I want a boyfriend, not a personal assistant/*****, plus it would guilt trip me tremendously because I doubt I did anything i my life that would give me the right to think of myself that highly. I also don't have a particular type because I genuinely believe there is something pretty rad about every dude out there :D, the word "attractive" in my opinion can range from bald-tall-in a suit, to the typical metal head guy with the beautiful long locks :3. The one thing that is a must, is that he has to be manly. For the picture I've decided to hell with photoshop, because I wanted to know the truth from your guys's point of view :) http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/546303_3578056300215_1537359210_33228420_1722162794_n.jpg http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/306690_3631747122452_1537359210_33250015_713939601_n.jpg Actual answers are appreciated, thanks for taking the time to read this :D

Resolved Question: Can a shawl lapel be appropriate for a job interview?

To be clear, I'm talking about women's suits. I'm looking to get a suit for job interviews, ideally under $300 for a matching jacket/pants/skirt set. I'm having some trouble locating suits in appropriate colors and materials (medium to dark grey or navy, and I'd love a cotton blend but if absolutely necessary I'll bite the bullet and go with lightweight wool, so long as it isn't merino), with the appropriate number of buttons (two or three), that have a notch lapel. Ann Taylor has one on sale that meets all my criteria, and that I like the look of, except for the shawl lapel, so I'm vacillating a bit on whether to bother going there and trying it on. (I know women can generally get away with a lot more than this, but while I am female-assigned-at-birth, I frequently don't identify as a woman and thus am looking to present a bit more "vaguely andro-butch professional"). Any advice/alternate suggestions would be much appreciated!

So... Prom is tomorrow (yay!!) and i bought a white dress shirt online that was supposed to get here today, unfortunately something happened to the usps truck and they can only deliver on monday now (after prom -.-) The good thing is that I already have the vest, tie, dress pant and the suit. Resolved Question: can you summarize this and change some words, please?

King Louis commanded his court with splendor and luxury. It could be said that under Louis XIV, extravagance ran amok because his court followed his lead or the lead of his several mistresses who also put their thoughts on fashion into play and the town artisans and shopkeepers reaped the benefits, according to the website Old and Sold. Materials used in the elaborate dresses of royalty were lace, heavy silk, velvets and elaborate brocades and ribbons. Dresses often had bodices that were cut low, skirts had loose waists that were split in the center, and placed over petticoats. Men's fashion also took on a rather elaborate look. Pants or breeches were made of satin or velvet and were knee length. They were gathered at the waist with ruffles and embroidery trim. The coats were short and open at the waist to show-off a linen shirt. The coat sleeves were open below the elbow to show off ruffles of lace near the hand. The neck had a lace ruffle piece hanging in the front of the shirt. The Empire Dress: During the 19th century, fashion turned to the graceful styles of a high-waist shift, low neckline bodices, which attached to the skirt, according to Fashion Era. For modesty sake, a chemisette filled the bare neckline of the empire dress by day and removed by night. The chemisette fastened at the sides. Fabrics were muslin or batiste and usually white in the summer. In winter, velvets, wools, and cotton were used. Chanel Designs: Coco Chanel became popular first with her famous perfume, Chanel No. 5 in 1921 and again with her classic suits in 1923. Chanel's suits included a knee-length trimmed skirt accompanied by a boxy wool jacket, generally with black trim and gold buttons, according to Modernights. Com. Chanel is famous for her little black dress, which was fashionable during the night or day depending on what accessory accompanied the dress. Chanel believed in versatility and simplicity. The Chanel fashion house is under the direction of Karl Lagerfield today and is still one of the top design houses today. Christian Dior Christian Dior brought elegance and glamor back into high fashion with his bustier bodices, corsets to cinch the waist, and petticoats to flare out the skirts, which fell just below the knees. This was after WWII when women everywhere were longing for fashions that were feminine and flirty. The timing was perfect because Dior's fashion required between 50 to 80 yards of material for one suit or dress. Chloe Designs: Gaby Aghion created Chloe Designs in 1952 and she quickly became a fashion icon. Her ready-wear clothing line made with soft and loose fabrics that hugged the body's curves become a hit with celebrities. Today, the house of Chloe has new designer named Stella McCartney who came aboard the House of Chloe in 1997 injecting a newer feminine look with fine tailoring of slacks, but keeping with the Chloe easy and loose casual look.

Open Question: How unusual is my lifestyle?

I am 22 year old American White male, and a university student currently enrolled in one of the country's most prestigious schools (I feel uncomfortable mentioning the name). I'm of the opinion that I live a very unorthodox lifestyle for a college student, and hardly a social one at that. Here is a general description of how my days might go on: On week days, I always attend my classes on time, never missing a day. In addition, I complete all of my homework assignments (papers, book reading). Additionally, I'm also always an A or B student. To get these good grades, I spend hours daily, sometimes even as much as twelve outside of class studying the texts and finishing essays or research papers. Basically, I come home most often around the start of the evening, between 5:00 to 6:00. I do not receive much more than six to seven hours of sleep in a standard week, although I tend to sleep in until 12:00 or 1:00 PM on weekends (Friday and Saturday, as Sunday is when I attend church). It is also during these weekends that the majority of my free time is used, several hours a day from Friday to Sunday, less to none if I have a particularly large amount of work to prepare for. As for socializing, it is virtually nonexistent outside of family members (including cousins of similar age) and inside the classroom during a discussion. I don't have any "friends" to speak of, although I have always been like this since I was young; always focused on receiving good grades and less on social values. In short, I have a number of acquaintances, but not people that I would necessarily consider close friends. Maybe I might be described as a loner, but I think I am content for now. Regarding psychology, I have Asperger's syndrome (or at least did several years ago), obsessive compulsive disorder, and I am apparently schizoid and paranoid according to a recently taken online psychological test. I do not consider myself "mentally ill," but I regard myself as having a different, unusual personality. I get the impression that I am a friendly and intelligent person, and I have been told that by others as well, both relatives and occasionally classmates and professors. Since an early age, I have always felt passionately about my education, and especially the subject of history. I have always been unfortunately bad at math, though. The music I listen to is usually all forms of jazz, classical music, or early rock music. I don't like too much modern stuff, although there is stuff I like too. Similarly, I have mainly a taste in older, classic movies, although I enjoy modern films as well. Finally, I should remark on the way that I usually dress. This is also different from how most guys my age are seen. I always wear shirts that have collars on that, and most often with a plain white t-shirt underneath. The shirts I usually wear are either dress shirts, oxford button-downs, polo shirts, and safari shirts (think Indiana Jones for that style). Like most people I do wear jeans as well, but just as often I am seen wearing khaki or chino pants, sometimes slacks, and even a grey wool suit on campus. I even recently bought a vintage dark green tweed overcoat that must be about fifty years old and in good condition. Frequently, I also wear leather jackets. I like to top off most clothes with my fedora hats (my favorite one resembles my current profile picture's), one that is light grey, brown, light tan, and straw. I have been complimented many times, by family and strangers, although some of my nuclear family members say that I dress too old fashioned, like I am straight out of the 1950s or 1960s. The way I usually get my haircut is even conservative for my age (a short back and sides cut with the top and front long, parted on the side). Edit: By content, I do mean that in a general sense, but also far more. I would be lying if I said I am completely happy with my life, but there are many things I am thankful for and appreciative of. It would be in poor taste for me to completely overlook that which I am grateful. Although I encounter many of what I consider hardships, I am in reality quite well off for myself, and humbled because of that. I have little right to complain, instead I try to cherish what I can.

Resolved Question: I'm so lost. What should I do with my life/career path?...HELP?

SOME INFO I am a 21 yr old female and I have no idea what to do with my life. I can draw and paint really well traditionally, that is something I have always been good at. I have the adobe suite and I am just now learning how to create digital art. I am currently creating vector art to sell to make money while I am recuperating from having spinal surgery. I have mostly been focusing on illustrator and will at some point dive into Photoshop. About a year and a half ago I developed an interest in Computer Science and have dabbled in a little bit of coding. I know alot of people self learn but I feel if I do that I will learn bad coding habits and make avoidable mistakes. I am also very good at designing clothes more than sewing them. I do have beginner skills at sewing eg: simple skirt, simple suit jacket & tank top. Pants seem to give me quiet the trouble) I also like the idea of being able to do what Pixar does. I've always been a creative person. Basically my problem is I have all these interests; computer science, digital art, and fashion. I also like the idea of starting my own company one day as well as a non-profit organization. I have all these interest and I have no idea what to do. One thing I know I truly want is to become a very wealthy women and use that money to create opportunities for inner city youth. Like free art and science programs, community centers, charter schools, low cost private colleges. Study abroad programs. This is something I would like to do later in life, like in my late 40's. I would also like to create these programs for adults. There are so many free programs for kids but none for adults. Not everyone realizes how important certain things are when they're young. MY QUESTION I know learning to programming is a great asset to have these days and it seems really fun. Is there a field out there that both combines my love for digital art and my interest in computer science that will allow me to use my creative talents.
