Perfect Fitting Short Sizes Shirts For Short Men

Expert Article By: Janine Giorgenti

For Jose Tineo, a chance encounter led to the perfect fit, both personally and professionally.

The owner of his own computer services company, Jose was summoned to Giorgenti Company headquarters almost a year ago to help solve a sticky hardware problem. As a roving IT specialist, he was accustomed to seeing many different kinds of businesses. But the concept of an online shirt maker specializing in short sizes seemed especially intriguing to the lifelong small businessman because Jose, more than just a self-made entrepreneur, was the classic victim of ill-fitting shirts for short men.

?Since I?m a curious person, I wanted to know all about what Best Custom Shirt did, and I wanted to figure out how they could offer customized shirts in short sizes.? recalls Jose. To his delight, business owner Janine Giorgenti not only patiently explained her operation, she offered Jose the chance to try a short men shirt.

?She even said she?d take my measurements so I could try one of her shirts made for short sizes,? Jose marveled.

He admits he was more than a bit skeptical. As a short-statured, powerfully built man, he?d simply resigned himself to the fact that store- bought short sizes shirts didn?t fit. But having garments custom-made was also beyond consideration.

?I?m five foot four and 180 pounds and I?m pretty bulky, not fat. And whenever I bought a stock shirt,? relates Jose, ?I would have to compromise. The right neck size wouldn?t match my sleeve length, or the right chest size would have a tail that fell almost to my knees. I found myself having to buy shirts for fat men in order to be able to button the collar.?

When Janine?s sample short men shirt arrived, he was bowled over. His new garment was not only reasonably priced, it was downright smashing.

?I loved the shirt so much, I immediately placed a couple of orders,? relates Jose.

In one fell swoop, Jose has been transformed from a victim of ill-fitting, unflattering garments, to a man with the polished look of a suave and sophisticated professional. His brief introduction to the world of custom clothing spoiled him forever.

?It was just amazing. I would get compliments when I visited old friends in the workplace. They could see the difference right away,? states Jose.

Even better, self-consciousness gave way to confidence.

?Now,? boasts Jose, ?I feel like I look great when I dress, and I don?t mind promoting that fact, because I truly feel that having these shirts actually helped to broaden my horizons. I thought I knew how to dress before, but now I know how it feels to really dress well. I?d had no idea how many ?flavors and colors and styles? shirts come in. I'd never thought of wearing cufflinks or trying different kinds of collars. Actually, Best Custom Shirt helped me to understand what a professional man should look like.?

It did something else, too. It convinced him that this was a business with a future; a place that inspired trust.

?I was so impressed at how well they did business online. They have formulas they?ve come up with in terms of fit and style that are based on 15 years of experience. And they have a website that can really help people,? he enthused.

So it was no surprise that when Jose heard Best Custom Shirt was seeking a new head of customer service he suggested himself. What better spokesman, he asked, than a truly satisfied customer? Just to be extra careful, he also did some additional due diligence.

?I like to do research on everything I?m doing, so I personally checked out the competition. Believe it when I tell you there?s nobody out there that provides the services that Janine does ? from the beginning, when you place the order, to the end, when she ensures you?re satisfied with the purchase,? assures Jose.

A few weeks later, he assumed the post of customer service director.

?Now, I check to make sure all our interactions with customers have gone well. In a typical week, that probably means dealing with about 400 to 500 people who either call, or ask questions or want swatches or a price quote or who want to find out something more about our program for short sizes,? explains Jose.

He adds, ?The typical day might involve someone who calls and says, ?I need to expedite my order. ?Thankfully, that?s really rare, but when it happens, my job is to immediately get on the phone and track down the order, solve any problems that might be involved, and give the customer the full update, along with an assurance about when their custom dress shirts will arrive.?

Jose?s ultimate goal is to guarantee complete satisfaction, not only to ensure a job well done, but to live up to Janine?s high standards for her custom dress shirts.

?I make sure to resolve any misunderstandings so that both parties are ok. Janine has a one hundred per cent satisfaction guarantee on all custom dress shirts and I make sure to honor that,? he underlines.

Jose?s employment with Best Custom Shirt has now confirmed his initial notion that the perfect spokesperson for a product is a satisfied customer. Besides, he wouldn?t have it any other way.

?I love my custom shirts,? enthuses Jose, ?and I feel really good about serving customers who buy our short men shirts , because I know they?ll have the same reaction I did.?

Voting Question: Why can't I ever accept my appearence?

I can never be happy with the way I look. I'm 20 years old, have a slim figure, I'm more or less healthy.... There's nothing obviously wrong with my face, except my nose is too big. And my cheeks are too chubby and I get these stupid dimples when I smile. And my forehead is too big. I think I'm kind of ugly. A lot of people say I'm so beautiful or stunning- ok that sounded really obnoxious, but it's the truth. And the fact is I will never believe them. I think they are just saying it to be nice or they are lying to me. I don't understand it at all. I get stared at by people a lot, my husband tells me it's because I'm so beautiful, and he gets so angry at me because he said I can't see how beautiful I am, and he's even made us go home on a night out before because apparently "too many guys are staring.". I think they are looking at me because I have a weird face. I always had issues with my weight and used to have a kind of eating disorder. And when i was younger I had braces, bad fashion sense, a little overweight and didn't know how to style my hair. I was sort of a nerd. Everyone said I changed beyond recognition, but I guess my mind is still where it used to be- insecure, shy, weird nerd. I'm so critical of myself always, even when people compliment me. When guys used to compliment me or flirt I think it was just to get into my pants. I can never accept compliments. I just wish I could be more confident and happy with myself. I get so much reassurance from really nice people and I just reject it all the time. I can't see it at all. I mean when I look in the mirror, I see a normal looking girl, not that pretty, but ok. When I look closer, I start to criticise everything. Occasionally I get a rush of super-confidence and i look at myself and think, hey, I'm actually pretty! but it's always short-lived and then I go back to... ugh I look terrible. Why? What can I do to ever change this? I feel like I will be this insecure ugly person forever... Does anyone else feel this way?

Open Question: I don't think my parents like what I wear?

I want to wear stuff that I don't think my parents will like... Its not anything that exposes anything but I like playsuits and tops that are in fashion but I don't think my parents would like it and they push down my confidence if that makes sense... What should I do? (I'm 12 btw) They haven't TOLD me not to wear them... they don't even know what i'm into but i don't know what they would think:/

Voting Question: Afraid to express myself with clothes?

I'm a senior in high school, male, and when I graduate I want to be able to reinvent my clothing style a little. I don't think I really know anything about fashion, I simply only know what looks good to me, but otherwise I don't know what style to wear! But I do think that average American guy’s clothes are BORING and sloppy. For now I've been going along with it but I want to break out of that just a little. Also, I'm naturally shy with low self-confidence. IT’S PART OF MY PERSONALITY. I'm not comfortable being open about myself. Our society so strongly dictates what men can and can't wear (e.g., "only buffs guys can wear tank tops" and "no skinny jeans" etc.). I don't want to conform but I don't want to be judged. And people don’t like my body time. I'm small and skinny and people only think "buff" guys can anything off. I’m fine with my body but nobody else would seem to be. There’s no culture where I live so I can’t find good clothes. My parents will only let me shop online on Amazon, but the selection is still limited and there are few, if any, extra small clothes (and I wouldn’t be able to try them on). PLEASE don’t tell me to just stop caring what other people think. THAT FORM OF ADVICE IS CRAP BECAUSE IT’S WHO I AM!!! So yeah... I hate our culture so I avoid people. I'm an artist and aesthetic value and beauty are important to me, so I hate the clothes I have to wear but I don't think I'll be able to find clothes that I'll be pleased with. I feel like I can never happily express myself due to lack of options and fear of judgement. I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO! Guess I'll just let my disaffection and distress manifest itself in my art, unless anyone here can help me work out my issues.

Voting Question: Help! FASHION EMERGENCY! One of my friends wore THIS to a pool party?

http://fuzzylizzie.com/myPictures/swimsuits/swim11.jpg One of my friends seriously wore that, along with shorts, stockings, and swimshoes. Like in the 1910s. Why does she have such a horrible taste in fashion? I had her come to a pool party so the guy she likes could see her all sexy in a bikini, but she wore that. And the worst part? This is nowhere near the height of her fashion disaster - she usually dresses goth, and not the cool bondage goth of the 80s, but the retarded goth that wears either victorian dresses or vintage dresses. It isn't like she is fat or has low confidence, so I don't know why she would wear something like this. And apparently it is legitimate swimwear, not just a dress.

Resolved Question: Advice on Drag Club Etiquette?

A group of us straight people plan on taking a young 18-year old gay man into NYC tonite and we want to take him to a drag club. I'm the only one who has ever been to a drag club, and that was in England 20 years ago. So, is there any particular etiquette we should be aware of? I was watching RuPaul's drag race and he mentioned that most queens earn their income from "tips" and he mentioned a drag bag. How does this work? I do know in strip clubs you can just tuck some cash into a g-string, but someone I can imagine a guy wanting anyone possibly messing with his tuck. RuPaul and the contestants on his show refer to each other as "girls, ladies, and b itches." Do drag queens pefer to be referred to as "girls?" Will it be possible to have some one-on-one time with drag queens? This young man is a lost soul in the world, and it the few days he has been staying with me, he likes "dressing up" and it is evident that under the sullen "the world hates me" mantle he's carrying around, he has quite a flair for fashion. We were thinking that introducing him into the drag world might give him some confidence if not some direction, so I was hoping that perhaps he could spend some time taking to the queens. (Up here in bum phuck New York there are no gay bars let alone drag clubs). Any help would be appreciated. And, if you're in NYC do you have any recommendations for a club? We'd like to dine and enjoy a show, but perhaps in a smallish, more intimate setting. This will be the first time this young man will have real exposure to "the gay world," so I'd like it to be as positive as possible. Thanks in advance for any help.
